Sarah Breger

Born in 1984 and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland, Sarah will received a B.A. in Jewish History from the University of Pennsylvania.  While at Penn, Sarah was the recipient of several awards and fellowships, including the Mellon Research Fellowship for the Penn Humanities Forum and the College Alumni Society Research Award.  A former Intern at the Center for Advanced Judaic Studies at Penn, the Shalem Center in Jerusalem and the National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia, Sarah was Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Kedma: A Journal of Jewish Thought, Jewish Culture and Israel.  Sarah has built latrines for a village in Honduras, has written by-line articles for United Press International and has worked on the Isaac Leeser Virtual Geniza Project.
